The Who, The What and The Where
BMC Plumbing and Gas have always been a little bit different. Our team have hands-on experience working across all aspects of plumbing and we have a great time doing it! So much so, we just took out the ‘Team Engagement and Workplace Culture’ award and kicked some pretty big companies up the donkey!
We are flat tack! Think – Pipes pumping, toilets blocking, showers leaking and football-a-playing kind of busy and you get the idea! And because we have some of the best clients in the world, we just keep getting busier and busier! So, we are on the hunt for ‘Australia’s most legendary Plumber’ to join our team out in Kalgoorlie, otherwise known as the Wild West.

Think picturesque bushland with ample free camping and great 4x4 driving, the best beaches in WA (Esperance) a three-hour drive away, over 140 sporting and community groups, and 33k residents that are an average age of 33 (the towns young and pumping). We even took out the ‘Shit Towns of Australia’ title three years running. But let's be frank – we are plumbers, that’s a bloody dream mate! There’s everything you need – A Coles, Woolies, Doctors, Hospital, Physios, Schooling, etc and heaps of social activities such as our famous race-round and St Barbara’s Parade. Housing’s a bit on the tight side, but we can help you with that. And if your relocating with a Mrs/Mr/Fambam we can help with school recommendations, job recommendations for the other half, and cool community groups to join. You’ll have an instant group of mates when you start working with us and we practically know everyone around the traps anyway, if you ever need an intro into something or somewhere anytime, we’re there!

We’re talking mining tickets, working at heights, Confined Space, 4WD training, first aid certs, and Industry specific stuff to grow our offering as a business.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Here comes the boring stuff – yawn!
At a minimum we NEED you to have the following:

Plumbers Ticket

A C-Class driving license

A National Police Clearance (Or know you will pass one without any nasty surprises for us)

Be a WA resident with Australian work rights or be willing to relocate to WA

High level of physical fitness (You will be put through your paces on our jobs)

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
These qualifications are highly regarded, but not necessary:
